Terms

1. Student EDT Driving School is an independent online platform that facilitates the connection between Irish learner drivers and qualified professional driving instructors. We do not provide driving lessons nor do we operate as an agent, partner, joint-venturer or principal contractor for Irish driving instructors. Reasonable care and diligence has been taken to ensure instructors of the highest quality available.

2. Student EDT Driving School is not liable, whatsoever, for any traffic violations or infringements incurred by a client, whilst engaged in a driving lesson. In such an event, the client is solely liable to make good any amounts payable as a result of the infringement.

3. The client permits and indemnifies Student EDT Driving School of any action resulting from the use of photographs of the individual, digital images or related information for promotional purposes only.

4. The client is liable for a 50% cancellation fee, if they fail to provide notice to the appointed instructor 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. If a client books and does not cancel before the scheduled lesson time, the amount paid for the lesson will be forfeited entirely. The effect of this clause is however at the discretion of the appointed instructor.

5. Student EDT Driving School is not liable under any circumstance for any damage, negligence whatsoever caused, or loss resulting from any accident or collision, vehicle malfunction, absence of appropriate insurances and/or including any other event that results in damage or loss to the client or instructor.

6. All refunds are subject to a €40 administration fee.

7. First lesson money back guarantee

If, after your first driving lesson with a new StudentEDT instructor (up to a maximum of two new instructors) you are not satisfied with the service provided to you, please notify us within 24 hours of the conclusion of your lesson. In such circumstances we will refund any amount already paid by you for the lesson, to your chosen payment method. For payments by credit card, the amount refunded will be less the credit card transaction fees (1.8%).

Please note, the first lesson money back guarantee only applies if you notify us within 24 hours of conclusion of your lesson that you are dissatisfied with the service and the guarantee can only be called upon for a maximum of two new StudentEDT instructors.

8. You acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms and conditions. By proceeding and continuing to use this website, you unequivocally agree to be bound to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. All our gift vouchers have a strict 5 year expiry date. If our package prices have changed since the point of purchase the difference will have to be paid. We will honour the full amount paid for any vouchers against any of our current lesson packages.

10. All driving lesson packages and gift voucher packages must be used within 12 months of the first lesson date. After 12 months from the first lesson date all remaining lessons are expired.
